Fr. Drew Heiman is the third of five boys, born December 9th, 1977. Though his family originates from northeast Kansas, his immediate family moved to Wichita four years ago. His family's home parish is the Church of the Resurrection.
Fr. Heiman attended Fort Hays State University for three years majoring in Mathematics before going to the seminary. He attended Mount Saint Mary's Seminary in Emmitsburg, MD and through God's grace, Fr. Heiman was ordained to the priesthood on May 28th, 2005 and his first assignment was here at St. Francis of Assisi as associate pastor from June 2005 until June 2007.
Along with enjoying his priesthood, Fr. Heiman also likes to play sports, listen to opera and musicals, read books, and spend time with his family and friends.
