Religious Vocations

To help foster priestly and religious vocations.

Members assist the pastor and all parishioners to become more aware of the fact that Christ is calling everyone to a particular vocation in the church. Among those, we can be confident that some are called to be priests and some to be sisters. Committee members help to create an atmosphere in which the call may be heard and encouraged.

This committee welcomes all parish members to join one or more of its subgroups to help foster and support vocations.

  • 31 Club: Individuals commit to offering a Mass and prayers one day each month for vocations to the priesthood and religious life.

  • Write to a Seminarian or person studying for religious life: Parishioners write letters to individuals studying for the priesthood or religious life.

  • St. Francis Statue: Parishioners sign up to take the statue of our parish’s patron saint home for a week and pray each day of that week for religious and priestly vocations.
