When we reflect on how far St. Francis of Assisi has come since 1959, it is simply amazing to consider what the future holds for our parish. Today our parish nurtures the spiritual lives of more than 7,500 parishioners and serves as a resource to other parishes interested in learning about the Stewardship Way of Life.
Our amazing growth for more than 55 years was made possible through the faith and generosity of our parish family. Parishioners who believed that their generosity could strengthen our faith community and its spiritual growth chose to give their treasure to nurture our church family. This Stewardship Way of Life enabled St. Francis of Assisi to become who we are today.
With a grateful heart for the gifts that have made it possible for our parish to grow, as well as recognition for where St. Francis is going, we have established a planned giving program. The Extraordinary Stewardship Committee invites you to leave a lasting legacy to St. Francis of Assisi Parish through a planned gift. Your generosity will ensure the parish’s growth for the next 55 years and beyond.
The manner in which a planned gift can be established can take several different forms. Among the most common are:
- Memorial – Donations intended to honor someone at their time of death.
- Bequest – Simply leaving certain assets, such as cash, property, or stock to the parish after your passing.
- Life Insurance – By designating St. Francis of Assisi Parish as the beneficiary of a life insurance policy you can make a significant gift for a relatively low cost.
- Charitable Gift Annuity – This is an arrangement under which you make a contribution to the parish and receive, in return, guaranteed annuity payments for life. It is a way of giving that allows you to make a significant gift that benefits you now and the parish later.
Donors are always free to be involved in how their gifts are used. When you choose to remember St. Francis of Assisi Parish in your estate planning, or if you would like additional information on leaving a legacy gift, please contact the church office.
For where your treasure is, there also will your heart be. – Matthew 6:21
