Robotics Club

Do you want to learn to program or enjoy robotics?

The St. Francis Robotics Club is open to 6th, 7th, and 8th grade students and meets weekly on Thursdays after school from 3:30 to 4:30.  Teams are given challenges to accomplish and opportunities to work together using VEX Modkits and LEGO Mindstorms robotics kits.  Opportunities to join occur at the quarters due to the quantity of kits available, but observers and parent volunteers are welcome anytime and we usually find a way to make joining possible.  Please make sure that you do not have outside commitments that would keep you from regularly attending club meetings.

Why should you learn to program? What are the benefits?

Programming with robotics and working on team projects exposes you to real world problem solving and the enjoyment of working together to meet a challenge.
