Letter to a Suffering Church

Bishop Barron wrote this Letter to a Suffering Church and we handed out 500 copies at Mass. This presentation will be an open forum discussion concerning the content of this book and the current situation in the Church.
How to Pray the Liturgy of the Hours
Thursday, September 5, 7:30 p.m. in the main church
I will teach a class on how to pray the Liturgy of the Hours, the continuation of the liturgy throughout the life of the faithful, which will be immediately followed by Evening Prayer at 9:10 p.m. for those who wish to stay.
Truth and Meaning of Human Sexuality
September 25–October 16, Wednesdays, 6:45–7:45 p.m. in the school basement
This text, of the same name, address the proper formation of human sexuality in the young. It will be an overview of St. John Paul II’s Theology of the Body. It will address the key topics and stages of development of the human person. It will end with a discussion on the current dialogue surrounding gender identity and how to charitably understand it.
Introduction to the Gospel of Matthew
October 30–December 18, Wednesdays, 6:45–7:45 p.m. in the school basement
The new liturgical calendar (Year A) starts on December 1st and the Primary Gospel is the Gospel of Matthew. These classes will give people an overview and introduction to this Gospel.
The Wellspring of Worship
August 25–December 8, Sundays, 7:00–8:00 p.m. in the main church
This course will be a book study concerning the meaning of liturgy. The Wellspring of Worship is one of the most inspirational books on liturgy that I have read. Participants will read 2 chapters a week. Please purchase the First English Edition of the book, ISBN 978-1-58617-022-6
