Novena for the Deceased

The Novena for the Deceased will be held Saturday, October 31, through Sunday, November 8. This is a nine-day period of prayer for deceased loved ones who have gone before us marked with the sign of faith. As Catholics, we pray for those who precede us in death, knowing that some have not yet entered the Church Triumphant in Heaven, but may be among the Church Suffering in Purgatory. We must pray for those in Purgatory as they cannot pray for themselves. We invite you to join us in prayer starting Saturday the 31st with adoration after the 5:00 p.m. Mass. The full schedule is below.

Candles to honor deceased love ones can be purchased from the parish office for $5 each. The candles will burn throughout the novena in front of the altar at St. Francis.
