SFA Catholic School Council

The St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School Council, in conformity with the Policies of the Diocesan School Council, subject to the approval of the Pastor and Principal, shall recommend educational policies, study and recommend solutions to issues referred to the council, and assist the Pastor and Principal in the development, implementation, and protection of the mission and vision of St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School.

The school council will assist the Pastor and the Principal with the following matters: Promote better understanding and wider support of Catholic education. Recommend policies relating to the planning, operating and maintenance of facilities and equipment. Strategic planning for the school. Establishment of basic school policies. Upon request of the Pastor or Principal the school council will act in an advisory role in resolving school problems. Serve as requested on planning committees for new educational facilities or renewal or updating of exiting facilities. Establish committees on standing or ad hoc basis according to need.
