Dear Parents,

The Accelerated Reader Stars for the fourth quarter 2009-2010 are as follows:

  • 1st graders-Joseph Poggi, Grady McElhiney, and Aiden Niedens
  • 2nd graders-Kyle Tran, Haley Beugelsdyk, and Helen Tran
  • 3rd graders-Cooper McGill, Scotney Reichenberger, and Chase Brouillette
  • 4th graders-Jaci Reichenberger, Kian Farley,and Cassia Eckert
  • 5th graders-Christopher Gregg, Zackary von Mosch, and Levi Brummer
  • 6th graders-Celeste Thomas, Crystal Nguyen, and Joshua Burns
  • 7th graders-Beth Eckert, Jacob Morgan, and Aubrey Burgess
  • 8th graders-Alex Eckert, Samantha Vu, Natalie Hayes, and Amy Matlick

The library would like to congratulate these readers for a job well done this quarter.

The class with the most tests passed was 2B with 444 passed quizzes.
The class with the highest average test score was 1B with an average score of 92.4%.
The class with the most accumulated points was 5C with 1029.2 points.

These classes have done a great job and should be congratulated for a job well done!

    These top student readers were presented with special awards at a reception held in the library on May 25th. Cole Schnieders, Beth Eckert, and Crystal Nguyen were the top three readers in the school and they also received a trophy for this special achievement.

    The class with the most accumulated points was 5C with 3,975.9 points.
    The student body passed 15,817 tests and earned 39,208.2 points this year.

    Calendar

    The Home School Party for 4th quarter was held on May 19, 2010. The 4th quarter for Accelerated Reader ended on May 14, 2010.

    The Accelerated Reader List of books can be found on the St. Francis of Assisi web site under AR List/Home Connect AR/AR Book Finder.
    The Home School will sponsor quarterly activities for those students who have reached a certain goal for each quarter during the 2009-2010 school year. Those goals are as follows:
