Tiger Cubs - 1st Grade
 

What you need:

Tiger Cub Handbook
Uniform Blue Cub Scout Shirt
Orange Tiger Neckerchief (furnished by Pack)
Cub Scout Slide

Tiger Advancements are as follows:

Family White Beads
Den Orange Beads
Go See it Black Beads

By completing 15 achievements by the end of January, Tiger Cubs earn the Tiger Cubs Patch

   
Bobcat/Wolf Cubs - 2nd Grade
 

Bobcat Badge

All Scouts except Tiger Cubs must earn the Bobcat rank one time before working on their rank advancement. Bobcat rank is earned by completing eight achievements as described in the front of all Cub Scout manuals.

The patch symbolizing rank advancements is presented in a special ceremony in the October Pack meeting.

Wolf Badge

What you need:

Wolf Handbook
Uniform Blue Cub Scout Shirt
Yellow Wolf Neckerchief
Cub Scout Slide
Light of Christ Workbook

A Scout needs to complete the 12 Wolf rank achievements by mid-February. The badge is presented at the Blue -n- Gold Banquet in February.

After earning the rank of Wolf he may earn arrow points. In addition to earning rank and arrow points, the scout may earn the Light of Christ religious award. This usually needs to be completed and turned in by the end of February.

   
Bear Cubs - 3rd Grade
 

Bear Badge

What you need:

Bear Handbook
Uniform Blue Cub Scout Shirt
Blue Wolf Neckerchief
Cub Scout Slide

A Scout needs to complete the 12 of the 24 Bear rank achievements by mid-February. The badge is presented at the Blue -n- Gold Banquet in February.

After earning the rank of Bear he may earn arrow points. A Bear Scout advances to the rank of Webelos in May.

   
Webelos Scouts - 4th and 5th Grade
 

Webelos Badge

What you need:

Webelos Handbook
Uniform Khaki Scout Shirt
Plaid Webelos Neckerchief (furnished by Pack)
Webelos Scout Slide
Par Vul Dei Workbook

First year Webelos Scouts will earn the Webelos badge by earning 3 activity pins, each from a different group by mid-February. These must include the Citizenship pin and the Fitness pin. The other pin may be from the mental skill community, technology, or outdoor group. Additionally, religious requirements must be met by earning Par Vul Dei religious award or alternatives. This usually needs to be completed and turned in by mid-February. The Webelos badge is presented at the Blue -n- Gold Banquet in February.


Arrow of Light Badge

Arrow of Light is the highest rank a Cub Scout can earn. A Scout must earn the Webelos badge plus 8 Activity pins which must include the citizen, readyman, and fitness pins. The total must include at least 1 pin from each of the 5 activity groups. The scout must be active for at least 6 months to receive this award. The badge will be presented during a crossover ceremony at the Blue -n- Gold Banquet in February.
