Every month, St. Francis of Assisi priests visit persons who are homebound or in nursing homes to bring them communion and offer the Anointing of the Sick. Contact the church office to be included on the visitation list.

Persons who are homebound or in nursing homes are also encouraged to contact the church office and include themselves on the weekly communion call list. Lay ministers make communion calls every Thursday morning. Communion calls and home visits are excellent ways for homebound persons to remain connected to the parish and receive the loving care of fellow parishioners.

Persons who are homebound or are dealing with chronic illnesses can serve others by becoming prayer warriors. The prayers of persons who offer their sufferings for the sake of the Church perform an invaluable ministry for the salvation of souls. As St. Paul says, “Now I rejoice in my sufferings for your sake, and in my flesh I complete what is lacking in Christ’s afflictions for the sake of his body, that is, the Church”. (Col 1:24) Please pray for yourself, your family, your parish, your nation and the world. Your prayers help save souls!
