Mission
The primary purpose of a Lector in the Catholic Church is to proclaim the Word of God from Sacred Scripture during liturgical celebrations. By doing so, they act as the “storyteller” for the community, ensuring the faithful hear the readings with clarity, conviction, and deep reverence.
