Families of the Good Shepherd: A New Fellowship Ministry for Parish Families

We are excited to introduce Families of the Good Shepherd, a new fellowship ministry at St. Francis of Assisi for families walking through the beautiful and busy milestones of early family life.

This welcoming parish community offers parents and young children the opportunity to build lasting friendships, live out their faith together, and grow in their vocation within the domestic church.

While Families of the Good Shepherd focuses especially on families with young children, all families are joyfully welcome, including single-parent families and families with children spanning a wide age range, from toddlers to teens.

Families of the Good Shepherd will gather quarterly on Thursday evenings from 5:30–7:30 p.m. in Cana Hall.

Kick-Off Event

Join us for our first gathering on Thursday, August 6, 2026, from 5:30–7:30 p.m. in Cana Hall.

We will begin with a hot dog dinner, followed by water fun on the playground. Families are invited to bring water toys, towels, and maybe a change of clothes. Dessert dishes are gladly accepted.
