Dear Parish Family,
Merry Christmas to you and your loved ones. As we celebrate the birth of our Lord, and reflecting on the Holy Family, I’ve been thinking about how much joy and strength a parish family can bring and I want you to know how grateful I am for each of you. You show God’s love to us priests and each other in small, everyday ways that matter more than you realize.
This time of year, can certainly be an adventure. It can be busy, overwhelming but also beautiful. My first letter to the parish, if you remember, I spoke about these times with family as beautiful chaos. I am sure it was the same with the Holy Family. But in the middle of it all, I hope you find moments that make you pause — moments that remind you that Jesus comes to us quietly, gently, and right where we are.
Thank you for your kindness, your faith, and your support for all of us priests here at St. Francis. We truly love it here and look forward to continuing walking this journey of faith together. You have all made this parish feel like home for us and know of our prayers for all of you.
I pray that you have peace, hope, joy and the warm light of Christ this Christmas and into the new year.
With prayers and gratitude,
Father James Schibi, Pastor
