For 43 years, St. Francis of Assisi parishioners have gathered at our parish school for an evening of games, good food, and time together. This year’s SFA Fun Night is Sunday, October 18, from 4:00 to 7:00 PM at the school, 853 N. Socora in Wichita. Admission is free.
Everyone is welcome
You do not need a student at SFA to come. Young families, grandparents, longtime parishioners, new parishioners, and neighbors from the surrounding community are all invited. If you have never been, Fun Night is an easy way to see the school and meet the families who make it home.
What to expect
- 4:00 to 7:00 PM: Carnival games, inflatables, the Haunted Hallway, and a kitchen full of homemade food
- 6:15 PM: Reserved pew drawings
- 6:45 PM: Silent auction closes
The warm cinnamon rolls and chili go fast, so plan to eat early.
Supporting our parish school
SFA Fun Night is the only annual fundraiser for St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School, and the students are working together toward a $50,000 goal this year. Simply showing up helps. So does buying a raffle ticket or placing a bid on a silent auction package. Past proceeds have paid for classroom textbooks, technology updates, and supplies for music, art, and PE.
Cannot make it that evening? The raffle and silent auction both run online, so you can still take part from home. Auction packages are on display at the school if you would like to see them first.
Lend a hand
Fun Night runs on volunteers from both the parish and the school. Shifts cover game booths, the kitchen, setup, and cleanup, and most are short enough that you can still enjoy the evening.
