SFA Fun Night is the only annual fundraiser for St. Francis of Assisi Catholic School. It brings the parish, school families, and the surrounding community together for one evening. This year the whole school is working toward a $50,000 goal.
Doors open at the school at 4:00 PM, and the evening runs until 7:00. Families can enjoy games, inflatables, homemade chili and cinnamon rolls, the Bourbon and Wine Pull, silent auction tables, and the always-anticipated raffle drawing.
This family-friendly community event is open to everyone! School families, parishioners, grandparents, friends, and neighbors are all invited. Bring the whole family—and invite someone who has never experienced SFA Fun Night before!

Tickets cost $1 each, $10 for 12, or $50 for 70, and a purchase takes about a minute. Now SFA supporters near and far can participate, whether they’re at Fun Night, at home, or out of state.

What to expect at Fun Night
For three fun-filled hours, SFA Fun Night takes over the school with carnival games, home-cooked food, the Haunted Hallway, and plenty of quality family time!
Admission is free, though you will want cash or a card for wristbands, food, and the bourbon and wine pull.
Come hungry
The food is half the reason our families come to Fun Night! Come hungry for warm homemade cinnamon rolls, hearty chili, and plenty of other treats. Our food is always popular and we do sell out, so plan to chow down early in the evening so you don’t miss out!

How the digital raffle works
The raffle is completely online this year!
Previously, staff and volunteers printed, cut, handed out, collected, and reconciled more than 25,000 paper tickets every fall. So all of that now runs through Zeffy instead, which saves a stack of volunteer hours and stops tickets from going missing on a kitchen counter.
Two deadlines matter, and they do different jobs. The student selling deadline is noon on Thursday, October 15. The total raised by then decides whether the school earns its day off on Monday, October 19. But ticket sales keep going after that, right up until we pull the winning names during Fun Night.

How students sell
Three steps, and no scissors involved!
- Share: Text or email the Zeffy link to family and friends, or post it.
- Scan: In person, a supporter scans the QR code, enters a few details, and pays on the spot.
- Record: The student writes buyer names on the paper tracker, then returns it to the teacher, who hands out another.
Paying by cash or check
Make checks payable to St. Francis. The school office can also process cash purchases, and the buyer gets an email or text confirmation. Or, if you would rather give without buying tickets, send a donation to the office or use online giving.
Drawings and prizes
You do not need to be there to win.
We draw winning numbers during Fun Night, announce them on the spot, and then call the winners afterward.
Prizes must be picked up from the school office by November 4, 2026.

what it earns
This year there are no individual selling contests. Instead, the whole school pulls toward one number, so every ticket sold moves all 593 students closer to the same rewards.
The goal is $50,000, and we ask each student to sell at least $50 worth of tickets. So if every student hits $50, the school clears $29,650. At $100 each, it clears $59,300.
Here is what the school earns along the way:
- $5,000: 25 new books for the SFA library
- $10,000: Students pick the morning drop-off songs
- $15,000: 30 minutes of extra recess
- $20,000: Silly sock spirit day
- $25,000: No i-Ready for a week
- $30,000: Students pick the activity in PE and music
- $35,000: New PE and music equipment and supplies
- $40,000: A new hydroponic tower
- $45,000: Dress like a teacher day
- $50,000: A day off school on Monday, October 19
What your support makes possible
Fun Night directly funds the things students use every day. Past years have paid for classroom textbooks, playground equipment, supplies for music, art, and PE, technology updates, and STEM materials.
That matters because this is the school’s only annual fundraiser. Tuition covers the basics for our preschool through 8th grade families, while Fun Night covers much of what sits on top. So if you want to help year round, there are other ways to get involved at SFA, including the PTO.
Volunteer at Fun Night
Fun Night runs on volunteers from the school and the parish. Shifts cover game booths, the kitchen, setup, and cleanup. Most are short, so you still get to enjoy the evening.
