Mission
To offer a nine day perilous prayer for deceased loved ones who have gone before us, marked with the sign of faith. Those in Purgatory, who are being purified for entry into Heaven, cannot pray for themselves. For this reason the Church offers a period of indulgence from November 1st through November 8th to pray for those in Purgatory to be set free into the eternal kingdom
Activity / Explanation
To offer daily one of five following plenary indulgences plenary indulgences following daily masses that can be offered for those who have gone before us. A. Devoutly visit a Catholic cemetery any day from 11/1/19 - 11/8/19; B. Adoration of the Blessed Sacrament for at least 30 minutes; C. Recitation of the Holy Rosary in front of the Blessed Sacrament; D. Participation in the Stations of the Cross; E. Scriptural meditation for at least 30 minutes
